JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Firefighters past and present gathered at Fire Station 30 in Arlington to celebrate 30 years of serving the community.

The fire station has protected the homes and business in the Regency area.

Among those attending was the station's first Captain, Timothy Ellis. Ellis was posted at the station for 11 days by himself before another firefighter was stationed there.
